What a Great few day's I've Had.
I made a very difficult but right decision this week & I'll tell you all more about that soon.
I've been trying to get ready for my Birthday Charity sale that I am running to raise money for Alffie. I have been given some very kind money donations this week as well as cards made from some very special people thanks Anne and Tracy your both Amazing xx
So as well as getting ready for that I've been getting invites ect... ready for Elizabeth's Birthday witch is just 7 day's after mine. I wouldn't wont life to be boring !! lol
She is having 3 friends for a sleep over followed by her party the next day at home with another 5 friends coming along for that. I'm planning to make some jewellery with them & a jewellery box for them to take there new treasures home in.
I found a gorges stamp at Running with Scissors my fav craft shop and painted her she is a wiff of joy stamp.
I do love this image but the thought of having to paint 8 of them the same filed me with dread. So I cheated sorry! I placed the image in my scanner & printed of 8 copy's slightly bigger than the original with I shall use to make Elizabeth's card.
I decided to say after the Scrap booking class that I attend and make a start on getting them done.
After same great brainstorming. (defiantly a good reason to stay again) we (being Anne & I came up with the idea to make matching RSVP card that I am going to put a photo of the child that returned the card on the day for Elizabeth to keep in a keepsake box. Well it's the first of the double figures.
Thought I would also share with you the scrap booking pages I did last week at Running with scissors as I used pictures from Elizabeth's 9th birthday on them. I printed them in sepia to give a bit more of an aged look.
I thought your invites were lovely and was interested to see them come together. It's good fun watching other people's ideas come together. Pleased I was able to help too with the RSVP idea. Hopefully you'll now know how many take home bags you will need. My daughter Chloe (now in her twenties) were talking about her fairy party today and she reminded me that we had sandwiches cut into star shapes and a fairy cake castle which I decorated with upside down ice cream cones as castle turrets. So you've sparked some happy memories for us Victoria. xxx
