I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO Excited!!!!
Well I have been working hard recently to build my jewellery & craft business I have made some lovely flyer's & posters to advertise my Jewellery and craft making parties for children. Yesterday I received a call from a friend with some news of a prospective place for me to sell my jewellery & crafts so today I popped of to have a look. I am pleased to say my lovely items will be on sale from Tuesday. I am bubbling with excitement. Not only will this mean the sale of my goods but also means I will be able to purchase new things to play with.
Having left the shop with my mind buzzing with ideas for new items to make & sell I came strait home to make these lovely hair clips.

I Had fun making these little clips & was an opportunity to combine my jewellery making with my card making.

I love altering items & this kind of falls in with that Passion. The white one below is slightly bigger than the two above. I know I have made them to sell & sell I must but I know Elizabeth will love these.

My last share for today are two cards I made in the crop at running with scissors on Friday. Tracy did make me laugh I love to chat along with every one but always go with a item to make & merrily get along with making my items. To witch Tracy pipes up how good I am actually finishing one card let alone two as most people go home having had a cup of coffee & a great chat but not much crafting being done he he he you do all make me chuckle I will miss you all this Friday as I start mt new Job this week running the school uniform shop.

The scalloped edges I have used on both these cards was used earlier in the day scrapbooking & I have to say they were popular with a few of us. They are made by ek success.

I hope you all are having a good week.
take care for now.

St Patrick's Day

Ever since Elizabeth has been attending St James School I have been invited to Mary's for St Patrick's day. This year was no exception. The only difference this year is we now have another mad Irish Lady.

Marry & Jude wearing team green and with there ever smiling faces.

Just 12 of us for lunch (lol) we all had a great time lots of girly chat & giggles.

Most of us brought something so that Mary didn't have to do anything. I made a potato red pepper & goats cheese fratata which went down well. I few non vegy friends asking for the recipe that was quite nice as it was just something i thrown together as with most of my cooking.
Our Wonderful cake baker Tracy made these gorges St Patrick day cakes she is so clever & talented. I managed to sneak one away for Elizabeth she thought they were amazing & gave Tracy a great big hug bless her.

Also a happy birthday to Shammy who was born on St Patrick's day x
Take care for now

Mother's Day
I though for mothers day this year I would make mum a bit of a keep sake instead of just a card.
I made the embellishments with my cuttelbug and to match my flowers to the paper I spraid my plain cream flowers with Glimmer Mist, this was also used on the harts to mach it all in. On the flowers I just spraid it on but with the harts I rubbed it gently all over to give a lovely glimmer finish.

I placed my poem on the back which made mum cry bless her x

Mum reminded me that the ribbon I used was from a gift she had given me. She thought that was quite sweet. I never through any ribbon away.

We went to the studio in Cleethorpes market place for mothersday lunch the food was fabulous Elizabeth chose the fruit starter as you can see she thought it was great!

There was 13 of us for dinner my brother in law is manager of the studio so both family's came together, both grandmas, granddad's brother, sisters & grandchildren.

Mum & roger always ready to pose for the camera.

I love this one Dan and Roger with all the grand children. Ahhh they are proud daddy's.

Here's hopping you all had an equally lovely day.

Roger's 40th Birthday

What a fabulous few days away we had for Roger's 40th Birthday. I kept it a complete surprise & he didn't know were we were going or what we were doing till 3 hours before we set sail. I had even packed his suit case for him so he no idea what he was wearing each day either lol. This first picture is of the hotel we staid in as you can see it is right on the edge of the canal and was very romantic.

I made his card in the crop at Running With Scissors on a Friday afternoon with some of my lovely crafting buddies. Some time ago I was given some wall paper samples and being a crafter I new they would come in handy one day so the silver paper under each square is a wall paper sample. The large 40 in the middle are chip board shapes that I embossed with silver embossing powder. The sparkly background was made using stamping up heat & stick powder topped with stamping glitter dazzling diamonds. Hidden inside were he tickets to Bruge.

I got us upgraded to a club class cabin so we could have a double bed at 6ft 4" Roger & bunks don't quite go. The cabin came with some lovely extras one of witch was free champain.

The scenery in Bruge was just stunning and I could sit here all day showing you picture after picture of some of the most stunning architecture but I don't think you would appreciate that so here are just a couple of my favourites.
